October Program – Ana Martinez - Portable Design Boards
o   Originally from “Bee in My Bonnet” website – she uses hot glue, Ana uses fancy duct tape or fabric tape (“Mini Design Board Tutorial”)
1.      Cut foam board with “paper” rotary cutter the desired size
2.      On back, draw 1 ¼” lines from each side
3.      Use Spray N Bond (Joann’s w      ith coupon) (Ana likes it better than the 504 spray) to spray edges
4.      Press cotton batting to board, cutting off excess
5.      Cut fabric tape from Crafty Cuts, a few inches longer than one side
6.      Align fabric tape to lines drawn on back, wrap tape to front, fold corners neatly (think binding corner)
·        Alternate, use foam board insulation from hardware store, cover with felt or batting. Thicker and you can push pins through as a design wall
